Camping Week 2

Mahala Has a Kitchen!

Sunday:

After planting her bell pepper and tending her garden, Mahala stored her best seeds and sold her excess produce at the market for §193.

I had her check out the dumpster in the back where she found a butterfly and a dishwasher. She decided to play her guitar by the dumpster and she gathered quite a crowd.

After playing for a while, she headed to the diner to search for treasures. She found a dresser, another microwave, and two butterflies. She sold the extra microwave for §240. After a visit to the Science lab, she was §75 richer.

She headed home to shower and eat an apple before bed.

Savings: §921

Monday:

I had her buy a large recycle bin for the garden (§50).

After tending the garden, she paid the bills (§34). She received her gems and gold. She sold the gems for §236 and the gold for §152.

She had to repair the outhouse, which took a while since she had no handiness skills.

Mahala needed a break from dumpster diving, so I sent her to the library to play some computer games for fun. Then I had her read a book to learn handiness. She reached level 2, so I had her read a cookbook to increase her skill to level 2.

She broke the sink in the library, so I had her fix it and mop up the puddle.

She sold her produce at the market for §80.

Then I let her do whatever she wanted. She decided to read Special Snowflake sitting in a computer chair.

She was hungry, so she decided to eat some corn, then headed home, and went to bed.

Savings: §1305

Tuesday:

Her garden now has a great apple tree, so I disposed of the two nice ones. She has the wish to grow an outstanding one now.

She went to the library to finish reading volume one of cooking and handiness books. Then I sent her across the street to the market to sell her produce for §487.

Savings: §1792

Wednesday:

Mahala wanted to upgrade something, so after finishing the gardening, I had her upgrade the sprinkler to add a timer switch to water the garden automatically.

Wanting to get closer to her goal of §5000, Mahala decided to sell the appliances and furniture she got from dumpster diving. She received §1093.

Mahala sold her bountiful harvest for §296. Then I sent her dumpster diving. She found a desk, a rug, an emerald, and three butterflies.

Down by the beach, she found some palladium, gold, blue topaz, and smoky quartz.

Savings: §3181

Thursday:

She sent the metals to be smelted, and the gems to be cut (§120). She paid the bills (§33), then tackled her garden. She had also found two unknown rare seeds which she planted.

A quick trip to the market netted her §246 for her fruits and vegetables. She found an uncommon seed and a peach seed next to the market which she planted when she got home.

After dumpster diving, she had some Tiberium, two couches, a phone, a beetle, and a breakfast table.

She sold a normal quality seed for §4. She sold the furnishings for §1857.

She stored the Tiberium for now and sent the emerald off to be cut (§20).

Mahala reached her goal of earning §5000, which was just enough to add a modest kitchen to her lot (§4995).

Now she needs to work on saving for the rest of the house. This will likely take longer as she will not be selling any furnishings that she could use in her finished home.

She had soup before bed.

Savings: §120

Friday:

Mahala made her favorite meal for breakfast (§11).

Mahala got the packages from the day before. She sold the gems for §92 and metals for §1023.

Mahala put the day's harvest in the fridge and went to the market to buy some eggs and cheese (§180).

She received §80 from donating her insects to science.

She then went to the park and gathered some seeds and fished for a bit. Mahala caught a red herring and four goldfish.

She planted the pecan seed and fertilized it with the red herring. She also planted the uncommon seed and sold the rest for §16. She sold the fish for §35.

Savings: §1175

Saturday:

Mahala grabbed The Adventures of Raymundo and went into the tent to read it. She got a late start on the garden because of this.

I let her do whatever she wanted today. She decided to read.

Savings: §1175
