Hamlin Asylum
Let the Craziness Begin!
I started an asylum challenge today. The asylum is located in the swamp area of Twinbrook.
Here is the first level of their home. There was a small outbuilding which I converted to a bedroom for three of the five beds. I made the bedroom inside the home a bit smaller so the living room could be bigger.
Here is the second story for the skill items. For my five skill items, I decided to have an easel, a sculpting station, a treadmill, a garden (to be planted), and the pond was already there.
Meet Autumn Hamlin, the star of this eight ring circus. She is a Virgo, a loner, a loser, computer whiz, loves the outdoors and is of course insane. She likes Pop music, Ratatouille, and Spiceberry. She has taken a job in the Science Career as a Test Subject and will begon work tomorrow. Her lifetime wish is to become a Professional Author making 4000 simoleans a week. Ths will be challenging as there is only one computer and eight household members.

I went with the first random person, and did not change anything including their clothing. I rolled three of their traits and gave them all hates the outdoors and insane.

Woodrow Meehan, a Sagittarius, handy, a mooch, and neurotic. He likes Electronica music, Hamburger, and Lilac.
Andrew Muncy, a Libra, a loner, a slob, and mean-spirited. He likes Electronica music, Cheesesteak, and Spice Brown.
Ruth Looney, a Pisces, an animal lover, and a vegetarian with commitment issues. She likes Pop music, Stu Surprise, and Spiceberry.
Tyron Coy, a Libra, a hopeless romantic, an animal lover, and unlucky. He likes Indie music, French Toast, and Red.
Francesca Coburn, a Virgo, a great kisser, a kleptomaniac, and evil. She likes Indie music, cookies, and Green.
Adriana Free, a Libra, hot-headed, neat, and a green thumb. She likes Kids music, Goopy Carbonara, and Red.
While playing, there were several fires, the last one claiming two lives. The fireman just stood there and said, "I can't get to the fire. Maybe it will go out on its own."
The repo man came by once and confiscated my bicycle!
There was a lot of arguing and insulting among the residents.
It was difficult to get on the computer as most of the residents were using it for socialization and fun.
Autumn was not able to handle the Science Career due to being a loner and not being able to handle crowds. She switched careers to Law Enforcement and was able to earn a good living.
In the end, she had a furnished home value of 20,903 simoleans and 14,403 simoleons available funds for a total of 35,306 simoleans.
When I moved her out, she was 2 days from becoming an elder.

I'm not sure if I will do this again. The constant noise was driving me crazy, and I got the computer game sound glitch where it was full blast and even muting all the sounds in options did not turn it off. I wear headphones, so you can imagine how loud that was!
